Leda-Vannaclip completes largest contract

Tuggerah based Leda-Vannaclip has just completed its largest contract to date supplying a wide variety of their security products for the Rouse Hill Town Centre on Sydney’s North Western fringe.

Built by Bovis Lend Lease Pty Ltd, the Rouse Hill Town Centre was one of the largest building projects undertaken in Australia during 2007. Leda supplied and installed over 800 fixed, locking, removable and retractable stainless steel high security bollards as well as 23 Bi- and Tri-Fold security gates that were manufactured at their Williamstown Victoria Plant. In addition Leda also manufactured and supplied large quantities of bicycle racks and lockers for use throughout the Precinct.

Commenting on the project, Chairman David Matthews said, “this project is one of the best examples of how Leda-Vannaclip’s consultation and experience combined with our engineering and manufacturing capabilities has assisted both the architects and the builder”.

Leda commenced operations in Sydney in 1994 and relocated its head office and manufacturing facilities to Tuggerah Business Park in December 2004. The operations of Melbourne-based Vannaclip were merged in February 2007 to become Leda-Vannaclip Pty Ltd. The company employs ninety staff across five offices in four states with production facilities at Tuggerah and Melbourne. Of these, twenty-eight are employed at the Tuggerah facility.

Leda-Vannaclip is Australia's leading specialist in Perimeter Security Solutions which comprise traffic control systems, gates, bollards, tyre spikes, road blockers, turnstiles, barriers and a range of electronic security options. Globally, Leda-Vannaclip's products are exported to Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America.
