Express'O'Coffee buys 6 new delivery vansWest Gosford based coffee distributor, Express‘O’Coffee has recently replaced their delivery fleet with six new VW vans purchased from Central Coast Motor Group. The purchase is an indication of the confidence Nick Pantsos has in the future growth of the business he bought in 1998 when turnover was a quarter of what it is today. With over 400 customers that extend from the Central Coast to Katoomba, the Hunter Valley, Nelson Bay and Taree, Express‘O’Coffee is another Central Coast success story. “We started with a staff of four people and by building up a customer base of cafes, restaurants, hotels and motels including Crowne Plaza Hotels and Mirvac Hotels on the Coast and in the Hunter, we now have ten dedicated people all committed to total customer service,” said Mr Pantsos. At Express‘O’Coffee there is more to customer service than one would think. “It’s not just about selling coffee,” says Mr Pantsos, “but the entire package, from barista training and development, the upkeep of coffee equipment, packaging and the other supplies our customers need all on a 24/7 service basis. Marketing our Piazza D’Oro coffee is the starting point really and so it’s essential that our customers know how to make good coffee. Our brand depends upon good coffee and from there we can offer additional services." Five years ago they outgrew their North Gosford premises and moved into their own 500sqm warehouse at West Gosford. Last year the company took on the sole Central Coast and Hunter areas distributorship for Byron Bay Cookies which complements their Paddington and Dolce Dora chocolate range. |
