nabbusiness appoints Managing Partner
The National Australia Bank has appointed Natalie Raine as Managing Partner of their Central Coast Business Banking Centre. Ms Raine was formerly Senior Partner at the Bank’s Hunter Business Banking Centre in Newcastle. Ms Raine shares responsibility for the development of the Bank’s business client relationships with Senior Partners, Steve Sutton and Wayne Metti.

Mantra Kooindah Waters Resort appoints General Manager
The recently opened Mantra Kooindah Waters Resort and Spa at Wyong has appointed Sandra Kerr as General Manager. Ms Kerr has most recently been Assistant General Manager of the Mantra Ettalong Beach Resort at Ettalong Beach. Her career in hospitality goes back some twenty years during which time she has held executive positions at Crowne Plaza Terrigal, Dooralong Resort and Ettalong Beach Memorial Club.

Mt Penang Parklands appoints new Program Manager
Chairman of Mt Penang Parklands, David King, has announced the appointment of Ken Phelan as the Corporation’s Program Manager – Commercial. Mr Phelan will be responsible for revitalising the commercial opportunities for the Parklands. “Ken comes to the Corporation with a wealth of experience from local government and from Britain. His depth of experience with public land planning, strategic management and heritage projects provide him with a good fit for the further transformation of the Mt Penang Parkland site,” said Mr King. Mr Phelan’s most recent career highlights include, working on the Hunter Employment Zone for Cessnock City Council and Warnervale Project for Wyong Shire Council.

New Manager for Ettalong Beach Bendigo Bank
Ettalong Beach Community Bank, which operates the Bendigo Bank franchise has appointed Tony Gravas as Branch Manager. Mr Gravas has a career in banking that extends over thirty years and most recently was Branch Manager of the Parramatta Bendigo Bank. Mr Gravas has been a resident of the Central Coast for twenty years. He succeeds Casandra Brewis who joined the branch when the bank opened in April 2005.

National real estate magazine launches on Coast
Central Coast publisher and owner of Impact Magnets, based at Erina Heights, Alan Gray, has launched The Australasian Real Estate Bulletin. The magazine will be the only monthly, independent real estate trade magazine with a potential readership of over 10,800 agents in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Fiji. It will also be sent out as an eMag, thus enabling all staff to have access to the publication each month at home or at the office. The first edition will be launched in July with Amanda Dollman at the helm as Editor. Amanda previously worked as Legal Editor at Central Coast Business Lawyers and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience as an editor.

Workers compensation claims centre opens in Gosford
Specialist workers compensation insurer, Employers Mutual, has now located a claims office in Gosford. Employers Mutual has been assisting NSW Employers for nearly 100 years and is respected as the best performing workers compensation insurer in NSW. SMSF Outsource Solutions has relocated their practice to the EastPoint building in Mann Street, Gosford. SMSF provides independent Self Managed Super Fund Audit services Australia wide and is operated by Matthew and Jo Heighway. SMSF is owned by Jo and Matthew Heighway. Mrs Heighway is a Chartered Accountant and qualified SMSF Specialist Advisor. Prior to starting the business in 2005, she gained extensive experience as an SMSF auditor working with firms such Delloites, Purkiss Partners and LWM Group.
