Water views still bringing in millions

McGrath Estate Agents have proven that prestigious beachfront and waterfront homes are hot property in an otherwise slow market, with multiple recent sales well above $1 million. While the sales and marketing campaigns are attracting interest from Sydney and beyond, it seems there are plenty of cashed-up buyers who hail from the Central Coast. This is creating a trend of ‘location upgrades’ as locals who love the Coastal lifestyle seize the opportunity to move closer to the beach.

Blue Bay Beachfront sells at auction
An absolute beachfront home at 104 Ocean Parade Blue Bay has been sold for $1,800,000 to a local buyer. Agents Tyson Nicholson and Mat Steinweide commented that this property was one of the most exquisite parcels of land in NSW available. The four bedroom, two bathroom home with spectacular views is situated on 815sqm land and poised over the sands of prestigious Blue Bay. The property was listed for just five weeks with a large campaign in both Sydney and local publications. The property was previously listed was with another agent for several months without success.

A five bedroom, three bathroom home with triple garage and pool at 21 Steyne Road Saratoga achieved a sale price of $1,210,000 when it was sold by Mat Steinwede and Deanne Hobday after auction. The huge home on 1,151sqm land offers panoramic views of Brisbane Waters from its absolute waterfront position with perfect northerly aspect. The property was sold to a local buyer.

North Avoca two-way views
A local buyer is the new owner of 60 Coast Road North Avoca – a substantial five bedroom home with four bathrooms and two separate living spaces which will be used to accommodate extended family. The outlook from this property is described as “two way ocean views” from its supreme position on the Terrigal-North Avoca crest. The home on 544sqm land was sold for $1,200,000 on the day of auction, after an extensive campaign in both Sydney and local publications which attracted much interest from Sydney and Canberra buyers. Agents Mat Steinwede and Deanne Hobday negotiated the sale.
