Pilot programme to support Manufacturers


The ‘Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Cluster’ pilot programme will allow participating businesses to tap into the knowledge of industry experts and peers through a series of monthly meetings - designed to help members better identify, evaluate and implement advanced technologies and management techniques.

The ‘Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Cluster’ pilot programme aims to: assist members to improve general business aspects of their business operations; help members increase their awareness of new technologies and management practices; provide members with a regular networking opportunity in a learning and knowledge-sharing environment; and help members anticipate and manage change within their business.
The trial programme will consist of three sessions including: 
14 Aug 2007 - E-Commerce
11 Sep 2007 - Innovation Management Processes
9 Oct 2007 - Lean Manufacturing (on-site visit)

Satisfactory conclusion of the pilot programme will see funding to extend the cluster and cover a further range of technology and business related topics for the benefits of members.
