Sydney food wholesaler relocates to Tuggerah

Food services and bakery supplies company, Atherton Group, have relocated their operations to the Central Coast.

Established in 1978 by Ron Atherton, the Group has operated from premises at Blacktown in Western Sydney for the past fifteen years servicing customers in Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.
Commenting on the move General Manager, Jason Atherton, said that the Central Coast is a more strategic location for their operations.
Having bought their premises at One Reliance, Tuggerah Business Park, Mr Atherton said that the Coast offered better value for money than comparable properties in Sydney.
Another influence, Mr Atherton said, was that he and half the company’s staff live on the Coast while the remaining staff live in the Northern Suburbs.
Atherton were assisted in their relocation by the NSW Department of State & Regional Development.
