NRMA buys Umina caravan park

NRMA Motoring & Services has purchased the Ocean Park Holiday Park in Umina.

The NRMA has also purchased the Darlington Beach Holiday Park in Coffs Harbour and the Parklea Holiday Park in Western Sydney. The latest investment sees the number of parks owned by NRMA increase from two to five. The options available to families wanting a caravan or camping holiday are diminishing as many beachside holiday parks are being sold off and developed.
NRMA Regional Director Kyle Loades, said that the NRMA had purchased the Ocean Park Holiday Park because “our members love these types of holidays. They love the beachside locations, the range of accommodation options and the activities that are available for all age groups.” Mr Loades said the NRMA would use its marketing resources to promote the Ocean Park Holiday Park as an excellent destination for families to visit.
The latest investment by NRMA in the three new holiday parks fitted with the company´s vision to diversify its investment portfolio and offer new benefits to members.
The Park will be managed by Freespirit Management Pty Ltd, who manage other NRMA owned parks.
Ocean Beach Holiday Park has 50 cabins and 100 caravan & camping sites.
