QA Systems for Small Manufacturers

The Central Coast Manufacturers Association (CCMA), in conjunction with MCA Business Education & Training, can now help smaller manufacturers implement the first steps of an affordable Quality Management System for their business.

In a first for the Central Coast, smaller manufacturers will now be able to acquire a Quality Management System endorsement which up until now they had not be able to obtain.
This system outlines the policies and procedures necessary to improve and control the various processes that will ultimately lead to improved business performance and profits.
Once the programme has been implemented the CCMA will provide an exclusive logo that can be used on all stationery which will further endorse this local programme.
This will be the first locally endorsed QA programme and is designed specifically for manufacturers.
Today’s manufacturing environment is increasingly competitive. Manufacturers need to stay focused on finding new ways to design, produce, sell and deliver products.
Quality management systems help organisations by:
• Providing business solutions to improve bottom-line results.
• Improving operational processes.
• Identifying problems and solutions quickly and systematically.
• Reducing waste and cycle time.
MCA Business Education and Training (Mel Crook and Associates Pty Ltd) was established in 1987 and is a Business Management, Education and Training specialist with a proven record in assisting the manufacturing industry with Business & Quality Management and Occupational Health & Safety Management programmes.  This experience has developed a genuinely practical approach to providing the type of formalised business education service business owners and employees actually want, as well as need.
MCA have the staff, resources and experiences to deliver required outcomes to the business performance of their clients.  The training programmes can be conducted at your business, work site or at the fully equipped in house training facilities at the MCA Kirrawee office in Sydney.  Costs will be relevant to the number of employees in the business.
The launch of this unique business opportunity for the smaller Central Coast manufacturer will take place in March and details will be published in the local press and on the CCMA website at www.ccma.com.au
