Invoice2go is the brainchild of software developer, Chris Strode who was a Software Developer working for Macquarie Bank who moved from being an employee to a contractor and found that he needed to generate his own invoices to get paid and then keep track of his business costs.

That was eight years ago and over the years he has further researched and developed his product beyond invoice generation.  

Initially, it was only available as a desktop application for PCs but with the introduction of the iPhone Mr Strode saw a new opportunity and started marketing it as an App which has proved to be highly successful.

The Invoice2go system allows for professional invoices, estimates, packing lists, credit memos and purchase orders to be instantly produced as well as payment records and sales and business reports.  Invoices once prepared can be instantly emailed from a smart phone or iPad.

“We have around 250,000 customers, mostly from overseas, and we are working on substantially increasing that number in the next few years,” said Mr Strode.  “Our business model works on a subscription basis for desktop software and we are constantly upgrading our software and adding new applications.”
