A new Sanctuary in green energy savings

With mounting concerns over global warming and the harmful effects of power sources on our environment, energy companies have been delving deep to find greener alternatives.

At the forefront of this movement is Tuggerah based Sanctuary Energy, who are about to commence a groundbreaking solar power panel roll out across New South Wales.

Sanctuary Energy's renewable energy infrastructure has been designed to ensure significant savings for individual residents, shopping centres, property developers and businesses alike. Their specialty is solar power which is ideal for the Australian climate and perfect for lifelong savings.

They install, service and power everything from individual single dwelling solar panels to large scale solar power plants, however it is the residential photovoltaic (PV) solar panel roll out that is creating interest.

In a $130 million project, 20,000 PV solar installation kits will be fitted free of charge on rooftops and shopping centres across New South Wales.

As a result, every home or business will produce clean, green renewable energy providing a substantial drop in harmful emissions; a fact not lost on the NSW Government who have come to the party with significant solar incentives.

Residents with solar PV power sources not only get their panel installed free of charge, they are expected to save $1,500 in an average year, with businesses able to produce even greater savings.

Solar power to re-enter grid

Solar energy can be fed back into the grid and used elsewhere, thus reducing the consumption of energy derived from harmful fossil fuels. The consumer providing this energy will then be rewarded 60 cents for every kWh returned to the grid.

Sanctuary Energy Managing Director, Mark Marjoribanks said, "Not only do customers have all the incentive in the world to have solar power installed in the first place and do the right thing environmentally speaking, they then receive the ongoing revenue stream."

Sanctuary Energy is an innovative energy supplier with a clear focus: providing the most competitive energy options and renewable energy infrastructure possible. "We're committed to developing infrastructure that's both sustainable and renewable," said Mr Marjoribanks. "And this in turn provides substantial savings that benefits everyone from big business right through to residential homes."

On working with Erina based advertising agency, GBD, Mr Marjoribanks said, "There's a lot of important information to get out there, because the solar PV roll out is going to be extremely beneficial whichever way you look at it: the environment wins, the strain on the electricity grid is lightened with all that solar energy flowing back into the grid at the time of day when energy is most in demand, and the consumer wins through massive energy savings".
