Adtrans relocates Hino dealership

A year after buying the Best Hino dealership with premises at North Gosford and Mascot in Sydney, Adelaide-based operator of franchised vehicle dealerships, Adtrans Group has closed their North Gosford dealership and placed the property on the market.

However, Adtrans have not left the Central Coast having appointed Dell Rd Truck Centre as a sub-dealer for Hino Trucks as well as appointing them an Authorised Parts and Service centre.

Speaking from his Sydney base, Adtrans Hino Dealer Principal, Henry Eggars said, “We are still very much involved in the Central Coast having retained two local new truck salesmen who will operate from the Dell Rd Truck Centre".

Dell Rd Truck Centre, at West Gosford, will operate from the premises owned by Flashpoint Fire Services. David McLean, owner of Flashpoint Fire Services said that the arrangement with Adtrans and Flashpoint’s extensive truck servicing facilities had provided an opportunity to set up a complete truck servicing facility on the site.

“When we bought the former Sita depot late last year we re-established the truck washing facilities which can now handle B-Doubles, and converted part of the offices to provide a truck drivers’ sleeping area with showers and rest area.” Mr McLean said that fuel facilities for trucks will be available within the next month.

Ross Mackenzie, who owns Temora Trailer and Truck Sales, will manage the new truck centre.
