Local conference for Central Coast businesses

The Central Coast will host a Business Collaborations Forum for business owners, operators and senior management, as a featured event of the 10th annual Small Business September program.

The Forum aims to facilitate collaboration between all levels of business and industry with the objective of assisting the recovery of the local economy.

The NSW Department of Regional Development’s Regional Manager – Hunter and Central Coast, Tony Sansom OAM urges business owners and operators to actively participate in the Forum.

“No business is an island and the current financial climate highlights how important it is to share knowledge, make connections and work together to bring life back to our economy,” said Mr Sansom.

The Forum will feature a number of keynote presentations including ‘Driving Sales Forward in Challenging Times’ by Tony Gattari of The Achievers Group. Mr Gattari, responsible for the huge success of the Harvey Norman computer and communication division, was recently a featured presenter at the National Small Business Summit and looks forward to bringing some energetic and positive thinking to local delegates.

“It is imperative that business operators make a choice to embrace change,” he said. “Though it will take time to reach new heights, change is the price we pay for progress”.

Other keynote presenters include Jaye Radisich, CEO of the Council of Small Business of Australia, and Joss Evans, CEO of INNOVIC – initiators of the global Next Big Thing Awards.

The Forum will be held at Mingara Recreation Club, Tumbi Umbi on Thursday 3 September. Delegate registration for the one day conference, including all keynotes and one-on-one business advice is $110 (inc. GST) per delegate.

The full conference program and online registration is available at www.thebrew.com.au or on 1300 55 32 35. TheBrew
