The price: $2,400,000. The property last traded in 2000 for $1,500,000. The buyer: A Sydney family who have bought it as a holiday home. The sale: The property was marketed in Sydney and local newspapers and was on the market for less than four weeks. The agent: Tim Andrews of LJ Hooker Terrigal.
Buyers line up for Tumbi acres
The property: 44a Palm Valley Road, Tumbi Umbi – a five bedroom, 650sqm tri-level residence with five garage spaces situated on a landscaped six hectare lot in the Palm Valley Estate. The property has abundant family living and storage areas with teenage rumpus areas and triple farm machinery shed. The price: $910,000. The buyer: A Sydney family. The sale: The property was on the market for 19 days. As a result of quality photography and marketing to the agent’s existing database the property was sold prior to auction. The agent: Tony Heath of Mclachlan Partners Long Jetty, who said that 33 interested parties had viewed the property in the first two weeks of the marketing campaign indicating an increase in demand for quality coastal acreages in the mid price range.

The buyer: A Central Coast family. The sale: The property had been listed for auction and had been on the market for 29 days with advertising through local and Sydney newspapers. Five contracts were issued in the week prior to auction and finally sold the day before to the highest bidder who lived in the same street. The property: 120 Beaufort Road, Terrigal. Built thirty years ago this 400sqm four bedroom double-brick home is on a 2.01 hectare lot with valley views and is only minutes to the beach. The price: $1,210,000. The buyer: A Sydney family. The sale: The property was on the market for four months and had been marketed through the local newspaper and White Magazine. The agent: Robin Murphy of Ray White Terrigal who said that they have been inundated with enquiry for acreages.

The property: 5 Bulkara Street, Wagstaffe. This level 2190sqm waterfront lot overlooks the entrance to Brisbane Water across to Ettalong Beach and comprises a self contained boatshed. The price: $1.7 million. The buyer: A Sydney property developer. The sale: The property had been on the market for two years through various agents. Belle Property sold it through their connections eight weeks after listing. The agent: Brad Hillier from Belle Property Terrigal.
