Council adopts Gosford City Centre Masterplan

At their 9th March meeting Gosford Council unanimously adopted the revised Gosford City Centre Masterplan OurCity, Our Destiny.

Council now proposes to officially launch the Masterplan in partnership with the Land and Property Management Authority (formerly NSW Department of Lands) in April 2010.

Council commended the State Government for their contribution to the development of the Masterplan, noting their participation and involvement on the Project Steering Group which oversees The Gosford Challenge.

Council has also resolved to write to the Minister for Planning supporting the Land and Property Management Authority's request to designate Gosford Waterfront as an area of State significance.
