Financier and author guest speaker at Business Women Connect luncheonMortgage broker, financial planner and now author, Virginia Graham, was the guest speaker at the first luncheon of the year for the Central Coast’s Business Women Connect.Forty-three local business women attended the luncheon at Lizotte’s Kincumber to hear Ms Graham – a former model – speak on the subject ‘The economy and small business: What’s happening next?’ Ms Graham has recently written a book, Flirting with Finance, which will be published through Fairfax Books in March. Business Women Connect is now owned by Sublime Marketing owner, Kim Williams. Ms Williams is the well-known Executive Officer of the Erina Chamber of Commerce and current Director of Business Central Coast. She established Sublime Marketing – a marketing, event and project management consultancy in 2003. Ms Williams said Business Women Connect is about providing a place for business women to network with, and support other women in business. “We will continue running networking functions each month throughout the year across the Coast and we plan to organise a Business Womens’ Awards event later this year.
