Small Business September 09: Minister urges business to rejuvenate

The NSW Minister for Small Business, Steve Whan MLA, is urging business owners to set aside some time this September to get back to basics and rejuvenate their business.

Mr Whan was commenting on Small Business September 2009 which is the most comprehensive assembly of business events in NSW with each event targeting the many different stages of business development.

“We’re determined to ensure small business remains a driving force of the NSW economy and help small business prepare for the upturn in the economic cycle,” said Mr Whan.

The Minister said the NSW Government is organising more than 300 events throughout the State and is pulling out all stops to supply the most up-to-date information to its 650,000 small businesses.
“I urge you to set aside some time this September to get back to basics and rejuvenate your business,” he said.

Mr Whan thanked Platinum sponsors: Australia Post, NRMA and Sensis; Gold sponsors: Austrade and the City of Sydney: and Silver sponsors: CISCO, NSW Business Chamber and EFIC for joining with the NSW Government to make the 10th Small Business September the best ever.
