A new approach in coast business alliancesWild Fig Service Alliance, a new invitation only business group has been established on the Central Coast drawing its membership from quality regional businesses who all share the common goal of delivering service excellence.President, Terry Hunt, said, “Every organisation is dependent on new business to survive, but equally as important is repeat business from satisfied customers. This premise is behind the Wild Fig Service Alliance – which is more than simply a networking or referral group. Wild Fig is an alliance of Central Coast business people working to generate business and add value to their customers – and their fellow alliance members’ customers. “Each Wild Fig member has been invited to join the service alliance, ensuring the businesses meets the same high standards in service, ethics and achievements,” said Mr Hunt. “This is an exclusive alliance of high performing businesses,” he said. “Wild Fig members are not required to make referrals as a condition of membership, but we believe in helping fellow business owners generate business by introducing them to a trusted service provider, or by providing an exclusive offer from an affiliated Wild Fig member. “Since launching the Wild Fig Service Alliance to prospective professional partners in November last year, we have received a great response and now have around 20 Professional Partners. We held the Service Partner launch in early March and look forward to adding new Service Partners to our alliance,” Mr Hunt added. There are three levels of partnership in the Wild Fig Service Alliance: · Professional Partners – will be selected within a range of industries that primarily build long-term relationships with clients. Only one business in each category will be accepted to join. · Service Partners – provide a wide range of services to customers of the alliance. Only one supplier in each category will be invited to join. · Promotional Partners – benefits and offers, such as travel, hospitality or other consumer-related businesses, will be negotiated with Promotional Partners on behalf of customers and members of Wild Fig. Professional Partners meet fortnightly at a breakfast meeting at Onda Restaurant, Terrigal, and Service Partners join the meetings once a month. Wild Fig Service Alliance was started by six founding partners: President Terry Hunt, Smartline Personal Mortgage Advisers; Vice-President Andrew Cox, Crighton Properties; Treasurer Rod Evans, Trilogy Professional Group; Publicity Officer Barbara Ketley, Milestone-Belanova; and executive members Paul Mereniuk, Peninsula Law, and Brett Dillon, BD Financial Planning.
