Distressed Gosford apartments sold at auction

Five apartments in the 24-26 Watt Street, Gosford residential development were sold at auction under instructions from the Receiver, PKF, in late February.

Erina agent Tennille Mugridge of Ray White, who acted for the Receiver said some thirty-five people attended the auction of which fifteen were registered bidders.

All units were split level and all had views around Gosford.

Unit 46, a 3-bedroom penthouse apartment with views across Gosford to the Brisbane Water, realised $305,000.

This unit comprised 161sqm of living area with three 40sqm balconies and roof top terrace with garaging for two cars plus storage.

Unit 44, also a 3-bedroom penthouse with 162 sqm of living area and 20sqm of balconies and similar features sold following the auction for $322,500.

Other units that sold at auction were:

Unit 27 – 121 sqm with 18sqm balcony and 2-bedrooms.            $251,000

Unit 28 – 117 sqm with 18 sqm balcony and 2-bedrooms.                       $257,000

Unit 17 – 150 sqm with 45 sqm corner balcony and 3-bedrooms  $278,000

Unit 33 – 127 sqm with 42 sqm balcony and 3-bedrooms                        $$305,000

Four of the units were sold to investors.
