Just over one hour north of the Sydney CBD is Sydney’s Central Coast. It is connected by
rail to the city—a commuter service accessed by almost 40,000 Central Coast residents
daily—and the M1 Pacific Motorway and soon to be completed North Connex also
connects the area with Western Sydney.
The Central Coast region is home to approximately 328,000 residents that will grow to
over 400,000 in the next 25 years. It forms part of the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Area
with a population of approximately 3.5 million people.
With a newly established Central Coast Council (the merger of Gosford and Wyong
local government areas in May 2016) the region is on the cusp of becoming a significant
economic region based on Gosford, the capital.
With a flow of new investment in infrastructure and residential and commercial
developments, now well underway across the region, investors and businesses seeking a
competitive advantage are advised to consider the significant opportunities available.
