One of the Central Coast’s foremost property developers, the Brand Group, has moved into the pre-school industry with the opening of Sprout Early Learning Centre at Terrigal.
Located on a five hectare rural site on the corner of Serpentine and Erina Valley Roads the centre has a capacity of 121 places.
The Centre is owned by Simone and David Brand with Mrs Brand being Centre Director. Mrs Brand has a long background in early learning, is a Bachelor of Education and has extensive training in pre-school operations having been involved in opening two other pre-schools and was formerly a teacher at Central Coast Grammar School.
“Our philosophy is to provide a balanced holistic approach through nurturing and natural curiosity for lifelong learning,” she said.
A feature of the Centre is its 1,000 sqm of nature based playground which is considerably in excess of the required ratios.
Other features include an animal sanctuary with chickens, rabbits and miniature horse and as it backs onto a nature reserve nature walks will be part of the learning experience for the children.
