The Commonwealth Bank has listed Tuggerah based software development company, CountryNet Software, in the top 7 per cent of Australian businesses for market disruption.
CountryNet has served over 1000 schools and eight million users worldwide since its inception in 2006, providing a suite of student/school administration tools, including a parent teacher interview booking engine (PTO), an online subject selection platform (SSO) and a comprehensive cloud-based school administration system (Educonnex).
The Commonwealth Bank identified the company’s ability to adapt products and services to opportunities, aptitude to benefit from market changes and willingness to invest time and capital in uncertain ventures as its primary disruptive factors.
CEO of CountryNet Software, Simon Totonjian, says the ability to adapt in a dynamic industry is crucial to success. The secret is you have to be flexible, and in our industry that means if you’re in the middle of doing something and there’s a change in the environment, you have to be able to respond quickly”, Simon said
