Cox, Vaughan terminated

Posted by Edgar Adams on 8 December 2021

Two members of Central Coast Council's leadership team have had their positions terminated.

Director of Environment and Planning, Scott Cox and Director of Community and Recreation Services, Julie Vaughan will finish up on Friday.

Mr Cox joined Wyong Council in 2013 as Manager Development Assessment and Rezoning  and following the amalgamation in 2014 was Director Development and Planning  and then in 2016 Group Leader – Environment and Planning

Ms Vaughan was employed at Wyong Council as Community Partnerships & Planning Manager for 11 years and then as Director of  “Connected” Communities in the new Central Coast Council for the last 5 years

Both were on extensive long term contracts.

No reason for their dismissal was provided except to say the decision was made to refresh the team as the organisation consolidates its financial recovery.
